Multiplication Table of 22

Repeated addition by 22’s means the multiplication table of 22.

(i) When 4 packs each having 22 pastel colors.

By repeated addition we can show 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 = 88

Then, twenty-two 4 times or 4 twenty-two’s

4 × 22 = 88

Therefore, there are 88 pastel colors.

(ii) When 8 bunches of 22 bananas each.

By repeated addition we can show 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 + 22 = 176

Then, twenty-two 8 times or 8 twenty-two’s

8 × 22 = 176

Therefore, there are 176 bananas.
