We have learnt reading and writing the time.

We also know that there are two hands or arms on the clock face. Long hand shows the minutes and the short hand shows the hours. So, the long hand is called minute hand and short hand is called hour hand.


Remember

The minute hand takes 1 hour to move once around the clock while the hour hand takes 12 hours to move once around the clock.
