Worksheet on Subtraction in Liters and Milliliters

Practice the questions given in the worksheet on subtraction in liters and milliliters (without regrouping and with regrouping).

Here subtraction is also done in the same way as in the case of numbers. We subtract liters from liters and the difference is calculated in liters. Also when we subtract milliliters from milliliters the difference is calculated in milliliters. It is done in two ways: (i) without regrouping and (ii) with regrouping.

I. Find the difference (without regrouping):

(i) 8 l 546 ml - 4 l 124 ml

(ii) 7 l 804 ml - 2 l 302 ml

(iii) 6 l 758 ml - 3 l 213 ml

(iv) 81 l 424 ml - 60 l 304 ml

(v) 58 l 583 ml - 38 l 483 ml

(vi) 77 l 700 ml - 31 l 600 ml

(vii) 594 l 543 ml - 583 l 220 ml

(viii) 764 l 680 ml - 664 l 380 ml

(ix) 410 l 408 ml - 110 l 204 ml

II. Subtract the following with regrouping:

(i) 7 l 635 ml - 4 l 276 ml

(ii) 6 l 305 ml - 2 l 298 ml

(iii) 9 l 600 ml - 5 l 376 ml

(iv) 84 l 531 ml - 45 l 279 ml

(v) 96 l 503 ml - 77 184 ml

(vi) 56 l 802 ml - 51 l 723

(vii) 379 l 493 ml - 187 l 295 ml

(viii) 600 l 209 ml - 108 l 190 ml

(ix) 217 l 800 ml – 180 l 551 ml
