Worksheet on Subtracting Two Digit

Practice the questions given in the worksheet on subtracting two digit. The questions are based on 2-digit subtraction problems that do not require regrouping (borrowing). To subtract the numbers arrange the numbers in a vertical order; first write the greater number and then write the smaller number.

Follow the procedure to get the idea how to solve subtraction of the 2-digit numbers without borrowing in different ways.

I. Subtract the following numbers by placing the numbers in column:

(i) 49 – 32 =

(ii) 76 – 54 =

(iii) 67 – 45 =

(iv) 65 – 25 =

(v) 89 – 7 =

(vi) 23 – 11 =

(vii) 57 – 23 =

(viii) 87 – 46 =

(ix) 84 – 31 =

(x) 99 – 77 =

(xi) 97 – 62 =

(xii) 39 – 19 =

(xiii) 79 – 39 =

(xiv) 24 – 14 =

(xv) 73 – 50 =

II. Subtract the following numbers by arranging the numbers in expanded form:

(i) 66 – 33 =

(ii) 59 – 36 =

(iii) 81 – 50 =

(iv) 96 – 16 =

(v) 47 – 36 =

(vi) 58 – 32 =

(vii) 78 – 27 =

(viii) 69 – 41 =

(ix) 37 – 07 =

(x) 63 – 51 =

(xi) 77 – 47 =

(xii) 59 – 11 =

(xiii) 27 – 16 =

(xiv) 84 – 24 =

(xv) 51 – 31 =
