We will practice the questions given in the worksheet on multiplication of a fraction by fraction. We know to multiply a fractional number we need to multiply the numerator of the first fraction by the second fraction and then the denominator of the first fraction by the second fraction.
Multiply the following fractions:
(i) \(\frac{2}{3}\) × \(\frac{4}{5}\)
(ii) 3\(\frac{1}{4}\) × \(\frac{8}{9}\)
(iii) 1\(\frac{1}{2}\) × \(\frac{4}{21}\)
(iv) \(\frac{4}{7}\) × \(\frac{1}{3}\)
(v) 7\(\frac{1}{2}\) × 8\(\frac{1}{3}\)
(vi) 3\(\frac{1}{3}\) × \(\frac{6}{11}\)
(vii) \(\frac{1}{10}\) × \(\frac{2}{5}\) × \(\frac{5}{8}\)
(viii) \(\frac{4}{5}\) × \(\frac{7}{8}\) × \(\frac{24}{35}\)
(ix) 2\(\frac{1}{2}\) × 3\(\frac{1}{3}\) × 1\(\frac{1}{5}\)
(x) \(\frac{1}{2}\) × \(\frac{5}{7}\) × \(\frac{4}{5}\)
