Practice the questions given in the worksheet on division with regrouping and with remainder.

Here we will use the division method to find the quotient and remainder (i.e., with regrouping, with remainder).

For example:

(i) 968 ÷ 42

Worksheet on Division with Regrouping and with Remainder

Dividend = 968

Divisor = 42                      

Quotient = 23 

Remainder = 2


(ii) 5684 ÷ 20

With Grouping With Remainder

Dividend = 5684

Divisor = 20                       

Quotient = 284  

Remainder = 4

(ii) 587 ÷ 8

(iii) 7863 ÷ 9

(iv) 98 ÷ 16

(v) 679 ÷ 17

II. Solve the following using short division method:

(i) 147 ÷ 7

(ii) 196 ÷ 6

(iii) 4680 ÷ 2

(iv) 4037 ÷ 3

(v) 2211 ÷ 11

(vi) 4495 ÷ 14
